Over the years I have migrated all my slideshows over to Slides for a number of reasons:
- able to access them from anywhere
- able to collaborate in real time on the same slideshow
- easy to share with the rest of the world
- simpler designs to allow the audience to focus on the content
- use of the Q & A feature to engage the audience
- conduct research for your slideshow using the ‘explore’ button
Make Great Google Slides
Though it still took me some time in using Google slides over powerpoint, I would now never look back. One website I turn to time and time again to aid me in my slide design is slidescarnival.com – if you have not yet discovered slides carnival, I highly recommend it (would like to thank@mjhamada for recommending). There is a host of designs and icons to really make your slideshows stand out, along with the points above, its a no brainer. Check it out today – slidescarnival.com and make great google slides.
Thanks Adam. I didn’t know about slidescarnival before.
It is a great website to enhance your Google Slides, used it for the past 18 months or so 😀 Hope all is well in Yanbu 😀 😀
I’ve been using this and found the transition from powerpoint rather easy. For those in FE who share modules with other teachers slides is a must. The add-ons such as ‘poll everywhere’ etc, and the speed of incorporating and viewing youtube clips is great….everything about it is a win win.
I’ll be looking through slide carnival for sure, cheers mate 🙂
For sure and now you can incorporate your own videos from drive make it a win win 😀
